Allowances
How posts and accounts are counted
- One post, many networks
- A post record sent to five accounts counts once against your monthly allowance. Threads also count once, however many segments they have.
- Editing is free, duplicating is not
- Editing a saved post does not create a new record. Duplicating it, or using Edit and Retry on a failed post, creates a new record.
- Accounts on the same platform
- Each connected account counts toward your account allowance, including a second X or LinkedIn profile.
- Billing period, not calendar month
- Allowances follow your subscription period. Deleting a record removes it from the current count.

- Prefer to run it yourself? The scheduler core is open source and hosted plan limits do not apply to self-hosted deployments.

Pricing questions
What is included in the free trial?
Eligible new users get 7 days with every Pro feature: all ten platforms, MCP connections, the CLI and API access. The trial allows 10 scheduled or published targets per platform and threads of up to 20 posts. No credit card is required.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is charged. Publishing and workspace access pause until you choose a plan; connected accounts, drafts and stored posts stay saved. A scheduled post that becomes due without access is marked failed, and you can edit and retry it after subscribing.
What counts as a post?
On paid plans, usage counts saved post records created in the billing period, including drafts, scheduled, published and failed posts. One record sent to several accounts counts once, and a thread counts once. Deleting a record removes it from the count.
Do I need to pay for ChatGPT or Claude separately?
Yes. SimplePost is the publishing service and does not bundle an AI subscription. You use your own ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or other MCP-capable assistant, on whatever plan you already have.
Are prices the same in EUR?
Yes. Basic is $9 or €9, Advanced $19 or €19 and Pro $29 or €29 per month. The currency is chosen at checkout based on your billing country.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Open Subscription in your profile menu in the web app to upgrade, downgrade or cancel. The subscription page shows the effective end date of your access. Only an explicit paid-plan action opens checkout.
Is there a free plan?
Hosted SimplePost has a 7-day free trial rather than a permanent free tier. The core scheduler is open source, so you can self-host it with your own provider credentials at no subscription cost. The free preview tools on this site never need an account.
What happens if I hit the post limit?
New records cannot be saved until the next billing period, or until you upgrade or delete records from the current period. Existing scheduled posts still go out. Editing a saved post does not count as a new record.
Do you offer annual billing, teams or invoices?
Plans are monthly, per SimplePost account. There is no annual discount, team seat model or invoiced enterprise plan today. Checkout charges USD or EUR from the listed prices. For VAT or a billing document, contact support.
