How to preview a DEV (Forem) post
On DEV and other Forem communities, readers choose articles from a feed card: cover image, title, tags and the first lines. The preview shows that card so you can check the title length and cover crop before you publish.
Write the title and opening
The first line becomes the title in the preview; keep it clear and specific.
Add a cover image
Upload the image you plan to use as the article cover.
Check and download
Review the card and save a PNG.

Can hosted SimplePost publish to DEV?
No. The hosted ten-platform offering does not include Forem. The open-source SimplePost SDK and self-hosted deployments can publish DEV/Forem articles with your own API key.
How many tags can a DEV article have?
Up to four tags.
Does SimplePost upload or store my draft?
No. The editor and preview run in your browser. Draft text, profile details and local media are not uploaded by this tool.
