YouTube video preview
Check your video title, thumbnail frame and the start of the description the way viewers first see them.
Drafts and local media stay in this browser. No social account is needed.
Need a place to schedule your posts?

How to preview a YouTube post
Viewers decide from the title and thumbnail. The preview shows the player frame, a title clamped to two lines as YouTube does, your channel, and the start of the description, so you can see whether the key words survive the cut-off.
Add the video
Upload the video or a still frame to use as the thumbnail area.
Write the title and description
The first line of your text becomes the title in the preview; keep titles under 100 characters.
Check and download
Read the two-line title and description start, then save a PNG.

YouTube post preview FAQ
How long can a YouTube title be?
100 characters. SimplePost also limits descriptions to 5,000 bytes and rejects < and > in both, as YouTube does.
Can I preview YouTube Shorts?
You can preview a vertical video. YouTube decides whether an upload appears as a Short; SimplePost has no separate Shorts setting.
Can I schedule the upload after previewing?
Yes. Connect your channel in SimplePost, upload the video (up to 500 MB through MCP, the API or the CLI, 50 MB in the web app) and schedule it.
Does SimplePost upload or store my draft?
No. The editor and preview run in your browser. Draft text, profile details and local media are not uploaded by this tool.
