From an idea to a scheduled post

    Connect Instagram in SimplePost

    Open Accounts, choose Connect account, and authorize the Instagram identity you want to publish from. Installing the ChatGPT integration alone does not connect Instagram.

    Enable SimplePost in ChatGPT

    Open the SimplePost listing linked below and install it. Sign in with the same SimplePost account, approve access, and enable SimplePost in your conversation.

    Prepare and preview a draft

    Ask ChatGPT to list your connected accounts. Supply your caption and media, choose the correct Instagram account, and ask to save a draft and show its preview. If ChatGPT cannot pass the attachment, upload the media in the SimplePost web app.

    Confirm the schedule and check the result

    Review the final caption, media, account, date and timezone. Tell ChatGPT to schedule that exact draft. A scheduled result means it is queued; after the scheduled time, ask for the publishing result and check any destination errors.

If something gets in the way

No account appears

Connect Instagram in the SimplePost web app, then return to ChatGPT and ask it to list accounts again. Use the same SimplePost login for both connections.

Media needs changes

Use the returned validation message to fix the image or video. A visual preview is an approximation; it does not replace the platform's publishing checks.

The integration is unavailable

Assistant plan and workspace settings can affect access. You can prepare and schedule the post in SimplePost's web composer while resolving the integration.
