Can Claude schedule social media posts?

Yes. With the SimplePost connector enabled, Claude creates posts with a scheduled time in SimplePost, which publishes them when they are due. Claude can show your calendar for any week and timezone, and edit or discard a scheduled post before it is sent.

Before you start

What you need

At least one social account connected in SimplePost. Text-friendly networks such as LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky are the easiest start.
The SimplePost connector added from the Claude directory and authorized with the same SimplePost login.
Your timezone, and posting slots under Settings → Posting slots if you want Claude to suggest open times.

Workflow

Step by step: schedule social media posts with Claude

Connect SimplePost in Claude
Open SimplePost in the Claude directory, choose Connect, sign in and approve access. Enable the connector in the conversation. Social accounts stay connected in SimplePost; the connector does not add them.
Look at the week you already have
Ask for your schedule. Claude shows scheduled, published and failed posts plus your open posting slots. The calendar reflects your data; it does not predict engagement.

Adapt one idea for each network
Give Claude the idea and your constraints per network. Ask for one post with per-account versions, so every network is scheduled and reported together.

Before you schedule

Check these details

Each network's version says what you want and fits its limit (X 280, Bluesky 300, Threads 500 characters per post).
The right account is selected when you have several accounts on one network.
The time is in the timezone you mean; say it explicitly when you travel.
Media-based networks (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) have their image or video attached.

Troubleshooting

If something gets in the way

Claude finds no accounts

Connect a destination in SimplePost Accounts, then ask again in the same conversation.

A local file cannot be read

The hosted server cannot read local paths. Use a public media URL or upload the media in the web composer.

A post did not publish

Ask Claude to inspect it and read each account's result. Reconnect an expired account in the web app, then edit and retry.

Questions about this workflow

Can Claude pick a good time to post?

Claude can choose one of your open posting slots or a time you describe. SimplePost does not predict engagement, so it will not claim a time is optimal.
